NO MIX TECHNOLOGY
Engineering Adhesives comprise, preapplied liquid activators with structural type adhesives which are applied separately plus bead on bead adhesive/activator fast fixture systems.
Two part, 1:1 ratio meter mix adhesives from 30 open time to 2 hour open times in a variety of viscosities from light weight liquid consistency to heavy gels.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS OF SUCCESSFUL USE
Glass to metal or engineering plastic bonding such as mirror bonding, gun racks, window hardware to glass --- AAS makes preapplied primer/activators with clear, water white glass bonding adhesives for joining metals, plastics, ferrites, sintered metals to glass.
Laminating PVC or stainless steel to expanded urethane board, a long open time, low odor, rollable adhesive is used to provide an economic adhesive for large area bonding which offers substrate failure.
Bonding magnets, ferrites or ceramics to metal, AAS has a full line of high impact magnet bonders with fixture times as low as 15 seconds and tensile strengths over 4000psi.
For high temperature bonding applications for paint bake or oven processing temperatures over 400F, a complete line of severe environment adhesives are made in preapplied, bead on bead or two part formulations.
For bonding plastics or wood to metal in the furniture industry such as seats, backs, trim or any component, a complete line of two part low odor, dry to the touch products are offered.
